Welcome to the magnificent world of sensitivity!

If you feel like you resonate with what you have read so far, I urge you to take a self-test on the trait of high sensitivity.  Developed by Elaine Aron, author and pioneer of The Highly Sensitive Person, the self-test is a gentle tool in the form of a short questionnaire.  Visit Elaine’s website for an online version of the self-test.

ONLINE RESOURCES:

SENSITIVE AND THRIVING: Ane Axford is nothing short of amazing.  A pioneer in the Sensitive Revolution, her website offers a TON of information to help you thrive with your sensitivity.  She has laid out an array of easy to comprehend information found within her Atlas.  If you are struggling with digestive issues/physical symptoms, I highly recommend this post for guidance.

TALENT DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES: Douglas Eby’s website, though not primarily about the trait of high sensitivity, provides much information and inspiration to enhance creative expression and personal development for the HSP Soul.  There’s a section specifically dedicated for high sensitivity found here.

HSP HEALTH: Maria Hill’s website explores the HSP trait in depth. HSP Health focuses on the many challenges of being a highly sensitive person including the causes and characteristics of high sensitivity, and the identity challenges of being different and invalidated.

THE CAPTAIN’S LADY: The Captain’s Lady explains what it truly means to be a Highly Sensitive Person.  It provides answers regarding troubling thoughts, emotions, and circumstances that tend to isolate us.  Most importantly it aims to help you create a lifestyle, which honors your unique differences.
